  • Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu

    As you reach Tribhuwan International Airport, one of our airport representatives will be there to greet you and will help you transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 02: Drive to Syabru Bensi (1462m) by bus, Duration: 7 hrs

    To begin our Naya Kanga Peak Climbing tour, we will leave Kathmandu and drive next to the north-western hills where the enormous Himalayan views and unique way of life of the inhabitants of rural settlements is sure to fascinate us. We will also pass over Trishuli Bazaar before reaching Dhunche. From Dhunche, we will drive to Syabrubesi. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)

    We will, on this day, trek to Lama Hotel from Syabrubesi, which takes approximately 5 hours. The trail goes across the Bhote Koshi River and follows the Langtang River. This trail steadily climbs to Bamboo (1960m) and ascends to Ramche (2400m) which is set at the riverbed of the Langtang River. We will then make our way to the Lama Hotel. On the way- Red Pandas, monkeys and bears may be spotted. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 04: Trek to Langtang Village (3307m)

    We will have a pleasant walk on this day as we will be following the trail that cuts in adjacent with wooded acreages of rhododendron and pine trees. We will also pass over the settlement of Ghoda Tabela where we can see wide areas brimming with lot of vegetation. We will be walking for around 5 hours to reach Langtang village lying at the height of 3307m. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 05: Langtang village to Kyanjing Ri (4773m) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m)

    Moving ahead from Langtang Village, we will gradually move to Sindum and then turn ahead to reach Yamphu (3640m). We will also pass through the Laja River and climb to a superb viewpoint where magnificent icefall stream from Langtang Lirung flow jovially and notice the sight of the Kyanjin Gompa. Hiking over to the Gompa, we will have a look around the monastery and ten proceed to move further on. From Kyanjin Gompa, we will hike to Kyanjin RI (4773m) where you will see astonishing views of Mt Gyangchempo, Mt. Langtang Lirung and more. Then, walking back to Kyanjin Gompa, we will conclude the day. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 06: Kyangjuma Gompa Exploration and climb Chorkari RI (5050m)

    We have a day rest in Kyanjin Gompa to get accustomed with the environment today. We will also travel around the region. Here, you can make a trip to the monastery as well as the cheese factory. We will also climb Chorkari RI, lying at the elevation of 5050m at the back of the Langtang Village. We will be able to see terrific views of the ice walls and splendid vistas of the whole Langtang Himalaya range, including the Langshisa RI (6,810 m), the Ganja La Peak, the Gyangchempo Himal (6,888 m), Langtang Lirung (7,244m) and more. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 07: Trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp (4,600m)

    We will be climbing to Naya Kanga Base Camp today, walking for around 6 hours from Kyanjin Gompa. We will be traversing the river and go up hill; on the southern direction from Kyanjin, the base camp is set. As we reach the base camp, we will set our tents and learn some basic skills to use the peak climbing equipment’s from our experienced guides. Overnight at tented camp, full board meals included.

  • Day 08: Trek to High Camp (5000m)

    Walking for around 4 hours on this day, we will trek up to High Camp, which is located 5000m high. On this day, we need to walk on the rock-strewn trail with lot of rocks and then we will get to the area of a glacier pass where we will install our camp. Overnight at tented camp, full board meals included.

  • Day 09: Summit Naya Kanga (5,846m) and to base camp

    This is the most important day of the trek and we will begin early in the morning to avoid bad weather conditions. We will walk ahead from the High Camp to the top of the summit of Naya Kanga Peak set 5,846m high. Using the peak climbing equipment and using the ropes fixed by our guides, we will get to the top of the Naya Kanga peak where we can enjoy the best panorama of Himalayas including Shishapangma, Dome Blanc, Langshisa RI, Pemthang RI, Jugal Himal and many more. Then, we will walk back to the Base Camp. We will be walking for around 7 hours on this day. Overnight at tented camp, full board meals included.

  • Day 10: Reserve day for contingency

    We have a spare day today, which is necessary in case of bad weather before reaching the top of the peak. If we have good weather conditions, we can climb to the peak without any postponement and will not needing this day. Overnight at camp/lodge, full board meals included.

  • Day 11: Trek back to Kyanjin Gompa.

    We will, on this day, trek back to Kyanjin Gompa following the same route. Overnight at lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 12: Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel (2500m)

    Taking around 6 hours on this day, we will stroll back to Lama Hotel with overwhelming memories of the trek. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 13: Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi (1462m/4795ft), Duration: 5-6 hrs

    On this day, we will walk back from Lama Hotel and move down to Syabru Bensi passing several villages, which takes around 6 hours. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 14: Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu

    Today, we will drive from Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu taking around 7 hours. For the rest of the remaining time, you can relax at the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu, breakfast and lunch included.

  • Day 15: Farewell

    You will be dropped at the airport on this day, by one of Escape Himalaya’s representatives, from where you will depart.
