Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
You may arrive at the airport at any time. One of Escape Himalaya’s representative will be there waiting for you and will greet you upon your arrival. You will then be transferred to your hotel for the check-in. As you have nothing else planned for the day, you may relax at the hotel for the remainder of time. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
You would be having a tour of the Kathmandu Valley today. You would be visiting the sites that are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List, starting from the holy temple of Pashupatinath. It is one of the most sacred temples for the Hindu people and is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. You can sometimes see the cremation ceremony being performed at the banks of the river as well. On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the temple sees the visit of thousands of devotees. Next on the tour is the Kathmandu Durbar Square. You would be able to look at intricate carvings and opulent Nepali architecture on old Palaces, temples, deities and statues in the Durbar Square area. The site does well to reflect Nepal’s rich monarchial days of the past. Moving on to the next site, you would be visiting the Swayambhunath temple. Located atop a hill west of the city, Swayambhunath is a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. The stupa consists of a dome at the base and a cubical structure painted with the all-knowing peaceful eyes of Buddha looking in four directions. The stupa houses many artifacts inside and the golden tiers above the pentagonal Toran are majestic to look at. And lastly on the tour is a visit to the Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. After the Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour, you would be returning back to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu for Rafting (910m), Duration: 8-9 hours
You will set off to Pokhara today. Pokhara is the second largest city in the country and offers many adventure activities. Also known as the lake-side city, Pokhara has many water-bodies that are perfect for water sports, leisure boat rides or sightseeing tours. On the way, you will be stopping at Charaudi to experience water thrills for 3 hours in the Trishuli River. After lunch, resuming the drive to Pokhara, you can view wonderful land sceneries that are adorned with terrace farms and streams. Upon your arrival at Pokhara, you may check into your hotel and during the evenings, you can have a leisure boat ride on the pristine Fewa Lake as well. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495 meters), Duration: 4 hours
After breakfast today, you will drive to Naya Pul via the village of Lumle. Walking for about 20 minutes, you will reach the village of Birethanti and from here, walking further- you will be making your way to the main street of Birethanti. Walking through bamboo forests and passing a large waterfall on the way and a swimming hole, you will be reaching the village of Ramghai where you will be having your lunch. As you ascend gradually further up to the side of the valley, you will finally reach Tikhe Dhunga. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Tikhe Dhunga, Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m), Duration: 7 hours
The trail ascends along steep stone staircases to the large Magar village of Ulleri after you cross a stream on the suspensions bridge near the camp site at Tikhe Dhunga. The village of Ulleri lies at the altitude of 2080 meters. The trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields, making for a beautiful trek. After about an hour’s walk, you will reach a camp site where you can stop for a rest and water. The further trail crosses two sparkling streams before making a short final climb to Nangethanti where you will be stopping for lunch. From Nangethanti, you will be moving to Ghorepani. The village of Ghorepani lies at the altitude of 2850 meters and you can see splendid sights of mountain peaks like Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and Tarke Kang among many others. In the winter, the trail is generally covered in snow. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Ghorepani, Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and Trek to Tadapani (2500m), Duration: 6 hours
Today, you will be hiking to Poon Hill early in the morning from Ghorepani to witness the amazing sight of the rising sun amidst the Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Poon Hill offers amazing panoramic view of the Annapurna ranges. Then, after spending time at Poon Hill, you will be returning back to Ghorepani to enjoy your breakfast. Trekking on further, you will be reaching Tadapani. The trail is filled with amazing views of the mountains and verdant woodlands. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Tadapani, Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m), Duration: 3-4 hours
You will be ascending through steep trails today that go through forests to reach the village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk lies at the altitude of 1950 meters. At Ghandruk in the afternoon, you can visit the Annapurna Conservation Office and Museum as well. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Ghandruk, Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 08: Ghandruk to Pokhara (910m), Duration: 5 hours
You will walk down from Ghandruk today and meet a flat trail along the Modi Khola. Eventually, you will be making your way through a circuit where you will reach Birethanti. Walking across to Nayapul, you will then have a drive back to Pokhara from there. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara, breakfast and lunch included.
Day 09: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park
Today, you will be starting your journey to Chitwan. The road to Chitwan is filled with wonderful sights of rustic villages and terrace farms. Upon reaching Chitwan National Park, you will attend a brief program related to the jungle tour.
16:00 pm- You will take a tour to the nearby ethnic Tharu village. Then, you will visit the National park Visitor’s centre followed by the view of the sunset from the bank of the Rapti River.
09:00 pm- You will be treated with a cultural dance of the Tharu community or be presented a slideshow on almost everything in Chitwan.
20:00 pm: Time to enjoy your dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chitwan.
Day 10: Chitwan Jungle Tour
Today, you will be enjoying the jungle exploration and wildlife jungle safari.

7:00am- Canoe ride along the Rapti river + jungle walk + you can enjoy elephant bathing on your way back.
03:00pm- Enjoy your lunch
15:00pm- Elephant Safari

Day 11: Chitwan to Kathmandu
Today, you will be visiting the Elephant Breeding Centre at Chitwan. After the visit, you will have a drive back to Kathmandu. The ride is beautiful with forest covered hills and winding roads. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu, breakfast included.
Day 12: Farewell
Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, you will be dropped off at the airport by one of Escape Himalaya’s representatives. And then you will depart.
