Short Everest Trek is a special package designed especially for those who have a limited time in Nepal. Trekking to the Everest region with considerations regarding time constraints is addressed brilliantly in the Short Everest Trek. Walk on paths that go to the central hub of the Khumbu region- Namche Bazaar. A short trek that encompasses the natural, Himalayan and traditional aspects of the Khumbu region in the most perfect of ways, Short Everest Trek is the ideal option for travelers who have less time to spend with them. Explore the lifestyle, culture and rituals of the mountain’s indigenous people and get beguiling views of Everest in close proximity. Hike up to the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest located hotels in the world that has amazing views of Mount Everest and many of its surrounding peaks from all of the windows the hotel has. The trekking trail of the Short Everest Trek is brimming with views of mountains peaks like the Lhotse Peak, Mount Nuptse, the Thamserku peak, the Ama Dablam and Everest itself. The mountainous wilderness of the region is also beautifully enveloped in the trekking trails and presents wonderful Himalayan landscapes that are quite ethereal. The florescent meadows, the wide open pasturelands and the distant sight of the cerulean peaks are something that look and feel heavenly. Short Everest Trek is a celestial journey that takes you on prepossessing paths and +beautiful trails with views of the giant Peaks as company.

Starting with a beautiful and scenic flight to Lukla, Short Everest Trek presents lush woodlands and panoramas of ivory peaks. The short flight to Lukla itself can be viewed as a short adventure in itself because of the sights of the changing landscape it presents. The terrain below changes from the crowded city to secluded forests and giant hills enveloped with jaded foliages. Landing on a narrow runway at Lukla, you then descend down to the Dudh Koshi River and start your trek along well paved paths to the village of Phakding. Trekking through blooming forests of blossoming rhododendrons, the trail passes through the Sagarmatha National Park. As you move along the green paths of the park, you may encounter glimpses of rare animals that have a habitat on the woods and grasslands on the parks acreages. Passing villages like Monjo and Jorsale, you would be reaching Namche Bazaar. Namche is also called the “Gateway to Everest” and utterly fascinating and gorgeous views of the mountains can be seen from the settlement. Namche also used to be an important rendezvous point for Tibetan and Nepali traders in the past; salt, dried meat, wool and other trinkets used to be exchanged at Namche, making it an important commercial village as well. While at Namche, you can have a visit to the Syangboche Airport, the Kunde Hospital, the Sherpa Culture Museum and the Everest Photo Gallery.

Short Everest Trek is an exemplary option to explore the trails in the Everest region. It takes you close to the mountains and presents you with a trekking journey that leads to many ethnic villages where you can observe the customs and practices of the people living on far-off settlements in the mountains. Short Everest Trek is also one of the easiest trekking journeys in the Khumbu region. Anyone with a low physical endurance capacity can also opt for this because the trails are easy and do not present much difficult paths. There is also quite a low risk of suffering form altitude sickness. Short Everest Trek is an easy trekking journey that presents wonderful experiences and the marvelous views of Mount Everest along with the Khumbu regions natural beauty.

The Short Everest Trek was recommended to me by Escape Himalaya as i had asked them for a trek package that allowed me to enjoy my short time in Nepal. With only a week left in the country, Escape Himalaya’s fast and prompt responses and excellent co-ordination made my trip into a fast-paced brilliant adventure! The Short Everest Trek is perfect for people like me who have a limited time in Nepal but are still into far-off and secluded places. The visit to Namche Bazaar really was one of the best highlights of the trek and do not even get me started on the views of Everest! For a short trek, Escape Himalaya did not leave any room for any errors and the trek was conducted in the most smooth way. The services around the guesthouses and my guide Rajendra’s concern and care left me free to indulge myself in the beauty of the trek rather than have to worry about anything. as I did the trek in March, the weather was beautiful and fortunately very favorable as the whole time, the views of the mountains and of the distant valleys were clear as crystal. Escape Himalaya’s fast responses and their amazing flexibility regarding the schedule and their professional arrangements of everything made me at ease about my deadline. I was worried about the Lukla flight, but, as I said, everything was on my side and there were no delays! Escape Himalaya was brilliant in their services and gave me the best trek! Greatly impressed with their proficiency and their wonderful care! Amazing work!

Me and my wife did the Short Everest Trek with Escape Himalaya. We both are extremely grateful to them and their entire team because our short trek was the most beautiful perfect trek we could’ve asked for. We were taken on gorgeous trails and beautiful settlements. The village of Namche was marvelous and the views of the mountains from the Everest View Hotel was out-of-this-world! The way Escape Himalaya handles everything, including the hotels and guesthouses, the meals and the transportation, made the trekking journey a lovely affair. Our guide Arun was helpful as well. Good humored and friendly, he was with us and offering us a helping hand on each and every step of our journey. The guesthouses and the lodges we stayed at at Namche and Phaking and the rest of the villages were homely and comfortable. even the porter who was assigned to us, Shyam, was extremely hard-working. The visit to the Sherpa village of Khunde after our excursion to the Everest View Hotel was one of the most profound experiences because the village was filled with ethnic people and we got to see the small houses and dainty huts located so cheekily on the edges of the mountain cliffs. Escape Himalaya’s help and guidance is greatly appreciated and we had a lovely trekking experience with them! We are both definitely recommending Escape Himalaya for trekkers!

Thank You Escape Himalaya for arranging me a beautiful trekking journey in the Everest region. I did the Short Everest Trek with Escape Himalaya this past March and it was one of the best short treks in the Everest region. There was not much elevation gain, except trekking to Namche and thus, I did not have to worry about getting altitude sickness. I was worried about getting altitude sickness, but with my guide, Rajendra’s care and the short trekking duration, it went pretty good. The scenery during March during the trail, especially from Phakding to Namche was phenomenal as the woods were lush and beautiful. The Sagaramatha National Park trek was also very enjoyable and I loved the tree-covered paths and the rivers at regular intervals. One would think crossing the rivers on suspensions bridges and wooden walk-0ns would be easy as just regular walking, but its not! Its actually quite nerve-racking to walk on a suspension bridge with the rushing river below!

Namche Bazaar was amazing and the views of the mountains were wonderful. The people at the villages were nice and I got to sit at the small tea-house and sip buttered tea with a view of Everest right in front of me. The visit to the Sherpa culture museum provided me good insight. A short and positively delightful trekking journey with amazing people and a perfect service by Escape Himalaya! Thank You Escape Himalaya!
