With many recommendation for Escape Himalaya, I finally decided to do the Everest Base Camp with them. For the most part, I was not disappointed. I was provided good services and the views of the mountains and the cultural villages along the trek were beautiful to look at. My guide, Arun, was also a good company. As a solo trekker, one of my first concerns was about not joining other groups. But fortunately, Escape Himalaya arranged that aspect and scheduled my trek with other group of trekkers. because of this, i was able to be at ease about my solo conditions.
I met many trekkers along the trekking trails and at the accommodations as well. Arun was kind and arranged my guesthouse stays with an expert fling. He was making sure that my meals were adequate and to my liking as well, which i am much grateful for. Later on, my porter was also of extreme help and I am thankful to him as well. The whole trek was a beautiful journey and i had a wonderful time with Escape Himalaya. They fulfilled their services and i was left with a good trekking experience. There is a reason the Everest Base Camp Trek is the number trek that is more usually recommended and that is the sheer beauty of the region and Mount Everest itself! When i finally reached the base camp at Everest and saw the views from Kalapathar, I was blown away by their miracles!
A good trekking experience results from the good concern and hard work of the travel agency and Escape Himalaya is no exception. Thank You Escape Himalaya’s team, my guide Arun and my porter for a beautiful journey with the best people. Escape Himalaya’s arrangements and schedules, their flexibility and their concern was what sold them to me. Right from the start, they were co-operative and prompt. For me, the bar has been set and that is Escape Himalaya.
The Everest Base Camp Trek with escape Himalaya proved to be the most efficient trekking adventure of my life! With the best trekking guide- Rajendra, I was able to have close encounters with the village people. I explored the villages of Phakding, Tengboche and Dingboche and got to observe the people’s traditions and culture. Visiting the monasteries as well, I got to learn so much about the people’s religion and their story. Rajendra was the most amazing throughout the trek as he was the one who guided me on trails and settlements. his knowledge and information about the places were very in-depth and helped me gain a deeper insight into the region’s cultural diversity. The village of Namche was the best highlights of the trek! I loved my time there and I loved the Sherpa Culture Museum and the Art Gallery. The small tea-houses on the trek were also lovely to be accommodated to! They added more adventure to the trek. Upon Rajendra’s request, I tried the delicious tsampa that was being served at one of the small tea-houses with buttered tea and it was absolutely amazing! enjoying hot tea with the sights of the mountains right in front of me is an experience that I cannot even put into words. The crisp cool air of the mountain, the clear views of the snowy peaks, the lovely people, the food- everything was perfect! I thank Rajendra for his excellent work and for his help and assistance. And I would like to thank the members of Escape Himalaya as well for arranging this beautiful trek for me and letting me enjoy the mountains in the most comfortable of ways. My recommendation goes to Escape Himalaya for they are the best travel agency with the best services and the best guides! I would definitely go with them again for my future trekking adventures in Nepal!
Spending my holiday vacation time in Nepal, my initial correspondence with Escape Himalaya proved to be the most proficient and effective way for convincing me that Escape Himalaya was indeed the best choice for me regarding travel agency. All of my queries were answered with detail and the team’s involvement with communicating to me and making sure that i was up to date with all the details of the trip made it extremely easier for me to plan my trip and schedule it accordingly. I really like Escape Himalaya’s flexibility as well, the Everest Base camp Trek was customized for me and i was immensely satisfied with their flexibility and arrangements of the trek. The small guesthouses along the trek were fun to stay at and I got to meet lots of other travelers and trekkers as well along the trails, which i think is interesting and enhances the experiences, especially since I was a solo traveler. My guide, Rajendra and my porter, Pasang as well- both were absolutely helpful and amazing throughout the trek. Rajendra’s guidance and his immaculate arrangement of the tea-houses, the bed and breakfast at the accommodations and the trekking knowledge made for a marvelous experience. Rajendra had lots of knowledge about the villages and the monasteries that I came across and he also helped me with communicating with the locals as well. Along the way to kalapathhar, I will never forget the views of the mountains from that vantage point! When i returned back to Kathmandu after finishing my trek, my mind was still reeling with the previous experience that just went through. Escape Himalaya is the best travel agency that plans the best trekking routes and has one of the friendliest and most helpful team members. I am recommending Escape Himalaya for trekking journeys! I loved my trek with them!
I would like to start the testimonial by first expressing my humblest gratitude to Arun for all his help in the trekking journey with me. Escape Himalaya really went above and beyond their call of duty for arranging me an absolutely amazing trekking journey at Everest! The 15-days Everest base camp that i went through on December was phenomenal! I’m not even sure if I can eloquence all of the great moments i had and the beautiful sights I saw, but here goes, I’ll try! Starting off the journey from the airport, i was greeted so warmly by Arun with flower garlands. Then, the hotel where i was accommodated at Kathmandu was also pretty clean and had great meals. When I took the flight to Lukla the next day, the journey was then turned into one of the best moments of my life! The sheer thrill and adventure i felt during the trek was crazy! (but, before i move on further about how crazy amazing the trek was, I must give credit where credit is due, and in case of Arun and escape Himalaya, the credit is definitely due! Before the start of the journey, i.e. the flight to Lukla, Arun made sure that I had everything i needed for the trek. And i was also provided a duffel bag, a Down jacket and a Sleeping bag for the trek as well, so I did not had to buy those. Other items i bought at Thamel, with Arun’s help. Like I said, he was always helpful and there for me). During the rest of the journey, Arun’s guidance and his patience with me resulted in the best trekking experience in all regards, from the guesthouses stay, the food, the sights of the mountains, the interaction with the local people, the visiting of the monasteries and everything else! All my gratitude to escape Himalaya and its entire team for this wonderful journey! My top recommendation to anyone for trekking journeys!
I did the Everest Base Camp Trek with escape Himalaya last year and i know that this review might be a little late in doing, but i might as well just write some because the trekking that i went was amazing! It was the most beautiful trekking experience of my life! I always wanted to go for trekking in the Himalayas, and when the time had finally come- i was hoping that everything would go as scheduled, and it did! escape Himalaya made sure that I was comfortable, and enjoying my trekking journey. my guide Rajendra, was the one who must be genuinely applauded because he was always helping me and was by my side the entire time of the journey. As I landed at the airport, i was greeted by Rajendra and Arun, who then helped me transfer to my hotel in Kathmandu. Their kind words and reassuring nature and patience with me made me feel at ease at Nepal. Then, as the trekking started, Rajendra made sure that everything was neatly placed in order regarding accommodations, meals and transportation. The tour of Kathmandu Valley as well at the very beginning of the trek was such fun to go through with. When we were on the trekking trail, the weather co-operated and the panoramic views of the mountains from the distance was just mind-blowing! I had thought I was ready and the views would not necessarily take me by surprise once I actually saw them in real life, because i had seen lots of pictures, but those were nothing compared to the real thing! And up close, it was even better! The Base Camp at Everest is the most beautiful and mesmerizing sight you are ever bound to see! I am so thankful to Escape Himalaya and to Rajendra for this amazing trip, and for everything they did for making this trip into such a dream! Thank you Escape Himalaya!
Finishing the Everest Base Camp Trek with Escape Himalaya on the early days of March was basically one of the most profound moments of my life. It was everything i had hoped it would be and so much more! The beautiful sights of the mountains, the villages, the people, the scene of the terrain- just everything was perfect and seems as though it was presented in its most sublime form just for me!
Escape Himalaya provided the best of services from transportation, accommodation, guide and sweet company. I honestly could not ask for a better travel agency or services! My guide Rajendra, was one of the best companies I had on my travels to Everest, and his concern and help on every step of my way is appreciated by me from the very bottom of my heart! Their efforts to make me as comfortable as possible with the best available services was basically reaching new heights!
While on the trail, Rajendra made sure that I had enough meals on the lodges and the tea-houses, he made sure about the arrangements beforehand and was always making sure that my teacup was never empty and helped me carry my heavy bag pack, along with my porter, for the few miles in the high altitudes when I was tired. It was the best company and a friend i could ask for. Thank You Escape Himalaya for making my dream into this amazing reality where all of my expectation were exceeded all the way to cloud nine! I am definitely going to be going with escape Himalaya for my future travels in Nepal!
Everest Base Camp Trek with Rajendra during the early days of March of last year probably amounts to be one of the most breath-taking trips of my life. Being there with my family- my two sons and my wife, we were reassured that the trekking journey would be relatively easy to undergo, even for us who hadn’t done trekking before. But with an excellent guide and porters, the journey went smoothly. We were greeted at the airport as well, with so much warmth and hospitality that it was a glossing reflection of what were getting ourselves into. Taken for a lovely ride around the Kathmandu Valley on our first days, our equipments and duffel bags were packed and checked by the guide, making sure that we had everything we needed. Then, because the weather co-operated so brilliantly during the trip, our Lukla flight was on time and upon arrival, our trekking journey begun. The open and wide spaces filled with the lush forests and tall hills were amazing to look at. We took lots of pictures with the sceneries as our backdrop and it was amazing. The trek along the path of the Sagarmatha National Park was probably the most beautiful trekking trails. Then as we were trekking higher up the mountains and gaining altitudes, the guide made sure that we were given enough time and relaxation pauses to catch our breaths. Our stay at the teahouses and the lodges at the mountains were also quite comfortable and really nice. In the evenings, we had all gathered around the fire of the tiny stove for our meals and even in that regards, Rajendra made sure that we had our proper share and that everything was aligned in perfect order. With the view of Mount Everest from Namche Bazaar, it was a breath-taking experience! When we finally arrived at the base camp of Everest, we were so overjoyed and I was rushed with the serene sense of accomplishment, one that I had very seldom felt before. This trip with my family was well worth all of the ordeals and I would definitely like to return back to Nepal in the future to have another go at the trekking trails with Escape Himalaya!
Me and my husband had the Everest Base Camp Trek in the September last year, and it was the best trekking experience we had ever had. We are both beginner trekkers and don’t really have all that much experience with high altitude trekking, but with the reassurance of Arun, our accomplish on the trek, we decided to go forth with it. With Arun’s guidance and his constant watch over us, we felt safe and had complete peace of mind throughout the trek. Upon our arrival at the airport, we were greeted warmly by Arun and our guide Rajendra as well. Because the weather co-operated, the flight to Lukla was not delays either and we were able to stick to the schedule.
The accommodations at the mountains were comfortable and were to our preference. we were briefed about the tea houses and the lodges and were promptly given instructions on what to expect at there cause of this, we had no problem once the time came for us to check into the lodges and spend the night. The sights of the mountains throughout the trekking trail was simply gorgeous and me and my husband enjoyed every single moment of us together at the trekking journey. With friendly and hospitable people throughout the trek, the whole journey was filled with care and consideration for us and the visits to the monasteries and the villages added more authenticity to the journey. Our guide Rajendra was the most efficient throughout the journey, making sure that we had everything that we needed, arranging the proper meals and making sure that we were good on the trails.
We also had a wonderful Kathmandu Sightseeing tour on our very first days as well. Because of everything working out according to the planned schedule, it was completed with no hassle or trouble. One of the best trekking services and guides we could ask for! With such an amazing customer care service like the one we were provided, Escape Himalaya is definitely getting the recommendation from us for its wonderful trekking experience.
The Everest Base Camp Trek by far ranks among the best trekking journeys that I have taken so far. Being an avid traveler and having experience of trekking on various trails in the mountains, I must give credit where credit is due. Everest region of Nepal is the most beautiful regions for trekking and the trekking trail and the destination of the Everest Base Camp Trek checks all of the criterias about natural beauty, good and hospitable people and Himalayas. The small far off villages in the landscapes of the mountains are especially astounding to see and to observe. Immediately after my Everest base Camp trek, after rejuvenation for three months, I chose to undergo the Tsum Valley Trek as well and that provided me another great experience regarding Nepali culture and hospitality. The people on the villages, especially the children and the old people, they are the most fascinating to listen to and talk to. They have the most amazing stories about the land and their ancestors and their villages. The temples and the monasteries that align the trekking trails all seem to have their own stories and their history and their lore made the trekking and travelling journey for me all the more enjoyable and memorable. Apart from the natural sceneries and the mountains (they are their own unique category for people while trekking), for me personally, it was the villages and the people.
The people in the Himalayas seem to be on a different league from the rest of us. Their lifestyle and their traditions and their day-to-day living with domesticated animals of yak and mountain goats, it just blows my mind every single time I think about it. In my opinion, in order for people to get the best out of travelling, they should definitely interact with the local people and that was the same case for me as well.
Escape Himalaya did a good job with the trip arrangements. I had no problems regarding anything and their guide who was accompanying me was also a professional and did an excellent job of being with me throughout the trek. Overall, I would give Escape Himalaya a five out a five star rating because they did not disappoint while proving me with trekking and travelling services. They are definitely on my recommendation list.
I did the Everest Base Camp Trek with a group of my friends recently and I want to share my input regarding my experience. Simply put, it was one of the best moments of my life. Nepal is truly an extremely beautiful country and the mountain sceneries in the Everest region are unmatched in their majesty and beauty. Escape Himalaya arranged the trip for us in a relatively cheaper amount as well, because we were a large group of 7 people. For what it cost, the services of accommodations and transportations were covered brilliantly. When we first arrived at the airport, all haggled and tired, we were greeted so warmly and with such cordiality that for a moment, looking at the smiling faces of the people who had come to greet us at the airport lifted away some of the jet lag. Then, after everything had settled down and all of the payment methods were done and over with, the trekking journey began.
We were given a tour of the Kathmandu Valley as well, which I and my fiends enjoyed immensely. The capital of Nepal is crowded and there are people and temples everywhere! Nevertheless, it was nice to roam around town and look at various big and small temples and statues. When we were at Lukla, the change in scenery was astounding! One would not think about how vastly wide and green the country is when they are at the capital! Anyway, from Lukla, trekking on trails that was so beautiful and full of natural sceneries made our journey amazing. The views of the mountains stated showing up immediately as we reached higher grounds and made the sceneries even more beautiful than they were. Walking over the suspension bridges, the rivers and the streams looked extremely dainty. We had to go through the Sagarmatha National Park as well to reach Everest Base Camp and the experience of walking on the trails on the Park’s protected jungles was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Passing through various villages and settlements of the people, we had a chance to look at lots of monasteries and places of worship. The stacking of stones and the carvings on the walls were fascinating to watch.
When the views of Mount Everest finally came into emergence, we were overjoyed and in awe of this tallest mountain peak. Trekking to the base camp of Everest provided us with amazing experience of a trekking on a trail that was enveloped on bedazzling snow. Mount Everest is truly magnificent and I am glad me and my friends had a chance to undergo this trekking journey. Escape Himalaya is a better travel agency than most and we are grateful for their provided services and their help and their hospitality.
Undergoing the Everest Base Camp Trek certainly provided me with amazing views of the mountains and the Everest Region’s natural wonders. The ethnic villages and the settlements that we came across while on the trek were quite authentic and reflected the people’s traditions and cultures quite nicely. There were various monasteries, temples and places of worship throughout the trekking trails as well which added to the excitement and the overall religious ambiance of the trekking journey. The monasteries were so beautiful, serene in the peaceful Himalayan environment.
We encountered many Mani- Stone wall carvings as well while on the trail. The carvings were quite intricate and the prayers that were carved into the walls were beautiful to look at.
Starting off the trekking journey from Kathmandu, we were shown around various religious sites and destination in the valley which were listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. The temples of Pashupatinath and the Bauddhanath Stupa, along with the Swayambhunath Stupa and the whole setting of Kathmandu Durbar Square were absolutely fascinating to observe. We were sad for all of the loss the earthquake had caused to the sites, especially at Kathmandu Durbar Square. Nevertheless, the trekking trail for the rest of the way were full of natural beauties and rivers and wonderful landscapes. The short flight to Lukla was filled with scenic mountain views. The trek from Lukla to Phakding had trails that were going through forests. While on the trek, we also had a chance to go through the Sagarmatha National Park and the ark’s vicinity is filled with animals. We had a brief encounter with a lovely little Red Panda perched on the trees and I think that was quite lucky for us as we had never seen such beautiful animal before. Reaching the Base Camp of Everest allowed us time on the snowy peak, the tallest one in the world!!
Escape Himalaya really proved themselves to be the best travel agency out there, with their brilliant rendering of services and their warm and hospitable team members and staff. They made sure all of the arrangements were taken care of and that we had the best services throughout the journey. Because of their contingency, our vacation in Nepal turned out to be one of the best memories of our lives. Nepal is a beautiful country and if any of you are deciding on visiting this exotic country, our suggestion would definitely be Escape Himalaya!
The journey of the Everest Base Camp Trek was recommended to me by my friend who had already undergone the trek before. I wanted a travel agency that allowed me flexibility and Escape Himalaya definitely provided me with that option. When I was discussing the terms of flexibility with Escape Himalaya’s team and staff, they happily obliged that they would arranged everything according to my convenience. Because I wanted the days to be shorten as I had a limited time there in Kathmandu, Escape Himalaya made me a customized Everest Base Camp Trek that incorporated my ideas into the schedule.
The trekking journey to Everest Base Camp was quite beautiful. I met lots of other travelers and trekkers all along the trekking trails and the accommodations on the bosoms of the Himalayas were comfortable and lovely to stay in. We had joined a group as well, and the company of the trekkers made the trip much more pleasant to do.
Overall, a pleasant journey and time well spent! Such an amazing country and the mountains are the best! Escape Himalaya did the best job with arranging the trek.
