Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
As you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, an airport representative from Escape Himalaya will be there to welcome you and will help you get transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. You will be shortly briefed about the tour as well. You do not have any other activities so you can just relax at the hotel, perhaps even get to know the lay of the land. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu city tour
This is your second day in Nepal and you will experience sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will get to explore striking temples, old Royal Palaces, monasteries and more. You will visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest stupa on the earth. The serenity at the stupa is quite beautiful, and you can see the spire of the stupa gilded in gold rising high, decorated with prayer flags and the four sides of the stupa painted with the face of Buddha, looking at four different directions. Then, you will make a trip to Pashupatinath Temple, an important temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and a scared temple to the Hindu people. Driving to Bhaktapur, you would be exploring around the Bhaktapur Durbar square as well. At Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can excurse and observe the opulent Palace of 55 windows, have a look around the National Art Gallery, see the Golden Gate and visit the Taleju Temple. You can also visit the Dattatreya Square and the Nyatpole Temple, both of which are very attractive pieces of idiosyncratic architecture. From Bhaktapur, we will drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is located 30 Km east of Kathmandu and presents you with grandiose peak views. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 03 Nagarkot Sightseeing Tours - Kathmandu
We will wake up early in the morning to witness the stunning sunrise views from the View-Tower. The eye-catching peak views expanding from Dhaulagiri situated in the west to Kanchenjunga lying on the east is an absolutely captivating experience. Then, we will drive to Patan to explore around Patan Durbar Square. Walking around the Golden Gate, the famous Krishna temple, the Golden Window, Sundari Chowk, Taleju Temple and the Char Narayan Temple present you with exceptional architectures holding its own unique lure that bewitches everyone. After that, we will return back to Kathmandu, and on the way, you will drive to the Swayambhunath Stupa, also called “the Monkey Temple” lying at the hillock.
