Langtang Valley Trek is the best trekking journey that ranks right on top among all my trekking journeys I have gone through. Driving from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi was also pretty and filed with sights of forests. Even this short ride on the road was adoringly pretty and I had a sense of nostalgia for my childhood when I had the ride because of the atmosphere. Everything about Nepal, in my opinion, is like that- it seems like everything is shrouded in a mist of the past, making it an extremely nostalgic place to be. The isolation of the villages and small settlements on the Himalays make it even more so. Nepal is interesting because it looks like even though the capital is one of the most crowded places I’ve been in, the remaining remote places haven’t really been touched with modernization. Langtang valley was like that. The peaceful Kyanjin Gompa at Langtang provided such a spiritual upliftment, i stayed extra hours there just to soak up the tranquility. I really like Nepali people as well, their warm hospitality is something that is exclusive to the country, their warm smiles and the little children’s red cheeks and mischievous demeanor brings a smile to my face every time I think about it. They always asked for chocolate!

Thank you Escape Himalaya for this journey 🙂
