    1Day 01

    Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport

    When you show up at the air terminal, one of the agents from Escape Himalaya Trek will welcome you at the Kathmandu airport. He will accompany you to your outing Hotel in a private vehicle. You can unwind for the remainder of the time after registration and meeting.

    2Day 02

    Explore Kathmandu Valley and Drive to Nagarkot

    Today you will go sightseeing to famous landmarks enlisted from UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. You will explore striking temples, old Royal Palaces, monasteries, and more. You will visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest stupa on earth. The serenity at the stupa is quite beautiful, and you can see the spire of the stupa gilded in gold rising high, decorated with prayer flags. The stupa's four sides are painted with Buddha's face, looking in four directions. Then, you will make a trip to Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple of Lord Shiva. Driving to Bhaktapur, you would also be exploring the Bhaktapur Durbar square. At Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can see the opulent Palace of 55 windows, look around the National Art Gallery, see the Golden Gate, and visit the Taleju Temple. You can also visit the Dattatreya Square and Nyatapola Temple, which are attractive pieces of distinctive architecture. From Bhaktapur, you will drive to Nagarkot, located 30 Km east of Kathmandu, which presents glorious sunrise and sunset views overlooking the mountains.

    3Day 03

    Sunrise at Nagarkot and Drive to Chitwan, Duration: 6 Hours

    We will wake up early to reach the viewpoint and witness the stunning sunrise view over gigantic Himalayan ranges like Dhaulagiri on the west and Mt Kanchenjunga on the east. After witnessing Nagarkot's breathtaking sunrise, we will drive to Sauraha, Chitwan. The road to Chitwan involves beautiful sights of rustic villages and terrace farms.

    Upon reaching Chitwan National Park, you will attend a brief program related to the next day's jungle tour. Then we will walk around a nearby Tharu village and visit the National Park Visitor's Center. We will also travel to witness the sunset view from the Rapti River's shore. The sight of the setting sun is serene and provides beautiful sublimity to the ambiance.

    4Day 04

    Full-Day Chitwan Explore Tour

    You will experience jungle activities on this day right after your breakfast. Starting with a canoe ride along the Rapti River, you can encounter basking gharials, marsh-mugger crocs, and various species of birds aside the river. After canoeing, your guide will escort you to the Elephant Breeding Center, where you can see elephants of all ages and learn how they are looked after and fed. Taking lunch at the hotel, you will take on a Jeep Safari to witness the varied wildlife of Chitwan National Park. We can enjoy the Tharu Cultural Program in the evening, which includes cultural dance and slideshow presentations.

    5Day 05

    Drive to Lumbini, Duration: 5 Hours

    Today, we will take an early bird-watching walk at the park and return hotel for breakfast. We'll then head straight to Lumbini, Lord Gautam Buddha's birthplace. Lumbini was registered as World Heritage Site in 1997. It is a famous pilgrimage site for Buddhists worldwide. Thousands of people visit religious and cultural sites in Lumbini every year.     6Day 06

    Explore around Lumbini

    Today, after breakfast, we will explore the World Heritage Site of Lumbini, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites among Buddhists worldwide. You will find the actual spot where Buddha was born inside Maya Devi Temple. The famous sacred pool of 'Puskarani' in front of the temple is believed to be where Queen Maya Devi bathed just before the birth of Buddha. Likewise, you visit other significant attractions like the Eternal Peace Flame, Ashoka Pillar, Sacred Bodhi Tree, World Peace Pagoda, and Lumbini Monastic Site, where different nations have built prominent Buddhist shrines.

    7Day 07

    Drive to Pokhara, Duration: 6 Hours

    Having breakfast at the hotel, we'll drive to Pokhara today. This long road trip passes by numerous towns, terrace farms, streams, and woods. Upon your arrival at Pokhara, you will check into your hotel.

    8Day 08

    Full-Day Pokhara Valley Tour

    Today, you will explore various prominent attractions of beautiful Pokhara City. You'll start the day before sunrise and head towards the viewpoint of Sarangkot. Located at 1,700 meters on the outskirts of Pokhara, this hilltop is popular among tourists for its marvelous sunrise view. The viewpoint also offers a sweeping panorama of the Himalayas, including Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.

    After a visit to Sarangkot, you will go to the Bindhyabasini Temple, located in the center of the old religious bazaar in the city and dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati. Next on tour is Davis Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in the country. It is also called "Patale Chhango" and is located on the southern flank of the Pokhara Valley. Likewise, you will visit the revered Gupteshwor Cave, across from Davis Falls, which is almost 3 km long. The next is the Seti Gorge, carved by the Seti-Gandaki River. It is one of Pokhara's most impressive natural wonders. And finally, at the end of the tour, you will be boating on the tranquil Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal. The boat will take you to the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake, Pokhara's most important religious place. This two-storied pagoda temple is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and Annapurna can also be seen in its serene waters.

    Fly Back to Kathmandu, Duration: 25 Minutes

    Today, you will come back to Kathmandu by flight. The flight is short yet picturesque, so you will make the most of your time appreciating incredible aerial views of diverse landscapes.

    Departure/Farewell
